The pessimistic protagonist. Was bullied in the past and is often paranoid that his friends secretly hate him. Shy, anxious and introverted.

Underneath the grumpy armor, there is a very sensitive soul who just wants to be understood and loved for the way he is. He is passionate about his hobbies, and has a cat colony that he dotes on.

Komi is the protagonist's best friend... except she's not real — she's an original character he made up when he was 15! Outgoing, friendly, and always positive.

She represents the side of him that he rejects to protect himself — his femininity, innocence, hope and positivity. Only Syun can see and hear Komi.

How lonely...

A shy gentleman who acts as the quieter foil to the club's chaotic energy. Always has some tea and a good book in hand, likely on unsolved crimes.

A sweet, hopeless romantic who can be suave and flirty when he likes someone. And maybe... a bit intense as well. Lion is autistic, and sees the club as a safe space.

The club's founder and leader. An excitable, energetic girl who adores making new friends, she quickly adopts all of the introverts around her.

Rikka is often childish, naive, and too sweet for her own good, so others tend to be overly protective of her... but is that a good thing?

A total otaku whose main goal in life is to make others laugh. Loves visual novels. Kie gave up on his performance arts degree to follow the steps of a writer that he calls his hero.

He wants to create something that can change someone's life for the better. Energetic, chaotic and fun, he's like a little brother to the rest of the gang. Or a gremlin.

A mysterious fashionista. Always dressed to the nines and is never seen without a heavy armor of makeup. Loves poking others' buttons, especially Kie's.

She can be quite manipulative and cunning, and isn't afraid of using her words or appearance to get her way.
